      NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      It would be very useful if one could enter any email address in the "Share" dialog (share this content by emailing other users) so that pages and blog post can be shared with anyone, not just Confluence users.

      Also, the label "User name or email address" is a bit misleading as you can't enter any email address, just the ones Confluence knows of.
