When using the "View" link on a attachment (attachment page), or when the office document is shown with the macro
{viewdoc or viewfile}, the button "Edit Document" should be displayed only if needed. This is mostly difficult for people to see a link "edit page" and "edit document" to know what they are doing. And mostly, the webdav could not be enable, thus frustrating people trying to edit the document in Confluence...
This situation is difficult especially in intranet environement where security is at hign and http and auth basic mostly not permitted...
The plugin could propose a new module-macro (show edit button on viewmode )that will be "enable" or "disable".
This way, the "edit button" is an option...

Thank you for raising this issue. While we can see how this feature would be useful, we have no plans to implement it in the foreseeable future. In order to set expectations, we're closing this request now.
