Confluence doesn't display table cell contents properly when unidented text in cell under bullets within same cell

When using the rich text editor in Confluence, it appears that you can have a table cell that contains an unidented line, followed by bullets, followed by an unindented line, followed by bullets in a single table cell. However, when saved, what you see in the RTE is not what you get in the displayed wiki page. The line that should be unindented under the first list of bullets is not unindented. Similarly, I cannot find a way to do this via wiki markup.

This has been a long standing bug in Confluence, and we've had trouble with it in the description within the version history on this page (manually created vs. metadata version history table because we have to include the properties file for each jar, for now at least):
