Description
Confluence comments are all displayed with an indication of how old they are. Sometimes it's "10 minutes ago", sometimes it's "Jan 22, 2009", and sometimes it's "Aug 09".
When you list them like that it's clear what they all mean. But when you just see "Aug 09" it's very easy to assume it means "August 2009".
A date format of just "MMM DD" is inherently ambiguous for an increasing number of dates.
My suggested fix would be to always include the year. Also "Month Day, Year" is a stupid format since the smallest increment is in the middle, not at either end. I'd vote for "Day Month Year" but "Year Month Day" also makes sense.
