I would like something like the dynamic tasklist functionality, where users are able to type simple text into a box and hit enter and that text would get appended to the bottom of the page (or some type of "section") and it doesn't require first getting edit lock, scrolling down to where you want to add, typing, hitting save, waiting for the page to reload, and then repeat. It would (I believe) allow multiple people to contribute content rapidly and in parallel. Brainstorming meetings, conference calls (or other meeting) notes... writing stuff down is slow and serialized as it stands now, unless multiple people edit multiple pages or try to deal with merging ... which takes more time. A "quick-add" capability that doesn't interfere with the conversation going on in the meeting, is basically what I'm talking about.
