Hi,

Each time a user tried to add a task to the dynamic tasklist macro it doesn;t seem to do anything. It acts like it adding but nothing is returned.

      We're using this macro:

      {tasklist:title=TasklistName}

            [CONFSERVER-20439] Tasklist macro doesn't work

            Dear Royce,

            The outcome of CSP-49357 is:

            Hi Sabera,

Unfortunately, I am not able to reproduce your problem here using Confluence 3.2.1 as I am able to add a task to the dynamic tasklist

I am seeing the following error messages in your logs:

            ...
2010-07-21 16:04:35,846 ERROR [TP-Processor2] [atlassian.confluence.event.ConfluenceEventManager] publishEvent An exception was encountered while processing the event: com.atlassian.confluence.event.events.content.page.PageUpdateEvent[source=com.atlassian.confluence.pages.DefaultPageManager@5f2fe2]
             -- url: /plugins/servlet/tasklist | userName: sabera@ceh.ac.uk | referer: https://wiki.ceh.ac.uk/display/~sabera@ceh.ac.uk/Home
            java.lang.NullPointerException
            	at uk.ltd.getahead.dwr.WebContextFactory$ProxyWebContext.getHttpServletRequest(WebContextFactory.java:102)
            	at org.randombits.confluence.support.DWRServletProvider.getRequest(DWRServletProvider.java:30)
            ...

It seems that the Scaffolding Plugin may be interfering with the functionality of the TaskList Macro. After looking at your System Info:

            ...
Scaffolding Plugin 3.1.0 CustomWare Asia Pacific Enabled
            ...

I can confirm to you that you are using an older plugin version which is not compatible with Confluence 3.2.1. To solve your problem, here is what you can do:

            1. Remove/uninstall this older plugin version
            2. Download either 3.4.0 or 3.4.1 Scaffolding plugin version
            3. Install it into Confluence
            4. Try adding a task this time to the dynamic tasklist

            Hope this helps.

            Regards,
            Joachim

What is the resolution? And which version of the tasklist macro are we your using? Can't view https://support.atlassian.com/browse/CSP-49357 because of security restriction. Thanks.
