"\r\n" added when switching from wiki-markup to rich-text mode

Switching from Wiki-Markup to Rich Text editing mode, Confluence generates a new version with "0" changes, for the following scenario.

Steps for replication (Wiki Markup is default):
1) Create a new page "Test 0 Version" and save
2) Modify the body to "text" and save
3) There are two versions now, which is good
4) Switch to Rich Text and save, no new version, as expected
5) Enter a second line "text" and save
6) There are three versions now, as expected
7) Switch again to Rich Text and save
8) A new page version is created
9) "Changes (0)" reported when viewing the version changes

Checking for the actual content stored in the database under the BODYCONTENT table, the two page versions have:

and

text\r\n\r\ntext\r\n
