    Description

      Steps
this requires a Jira that has a heaps of filters

      1. Register a Jira Gadget with Confluence that uses filters, like Pie Chart
      2. Edit a confluence page
      3. click the add macro button
      4. choose the Pie Chart external content gadget
      5. in the filter box, I want my private filter called all. So I type all.

      Expected Result
My filter all is in the auto complete list. I select it. Click Insert and all is good

      Actual Result

      1. My auto complete result does not have my all filter and is instead full of a dozen other filters shared by others with the word all in it.
      2. if I leave the filter input box with the word all in it and click Insert, I get an error stating that I must select a valid filter

      Work Around

      1. Select an unwanted filter from the list in Confluence
      2. click Insert
      3. Discover the filter id in Jira
      4. delete the unwanted filter id from the text of the macro in wiki markup and insert the correct filter id. However, our average user already got lost about 10 steps ago...

      Suggested Remedies

      1. In Jira, improve the auto complete results so that exact matches are returned first (JRA-19918)
      2. include the Advanced Search link that appears in Jira when adding the same gadget in Confluence.
