We have upgraded our system from 2.9 at 3.0.2. Within by us an error occour with the search web service of our confluence system(http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONFDEV/Remote+API+Specification):

      • search in our productive system (Confl 2.9) via Wiki Web Service with "test*" & max hits = 999999999 shown a result - how expected
      • search in our quality system (Confl 3.0.2) via Wiki Web Service with "test" & max hits = 9999 shown a result - how expected
      • search in our quality system (Confl 3.0.2) via Wiki Web Service with "test*" & max hits > 35 (e.g. 50) shown a SOAP error
      • search in our quality system (Confl 3.0.2) via Wiki Web Service with "test*" & max hits <= 35 shown a result again

This behaviour we can reproduce with many other search terms and different hit counts.
Also this behaviour shown in version 3.0.2 (on our quality system) but not in version 2.9 (on our productiv system).
