Here are the steps on how to reproduce this bug:
- Create a new Excel workbook
- Create a hyperlink in cell B22
- Add text to cell L3 (without hyperlinks)
- Save file
- Upload file attachment to Confluence and use the viewxls macro to display the file
- You will be able to see a rendered version of the table makes L3 a hyperlink to the destination specified in cell B22
Not only that, there is also a strange pattern/behavior where you can see:
A12 --> link applied to K2
B12 --> link applied to L2
B32 --> link applied to L4
B42 --> link applied to L5
B52 --> link applied to L6
C22 --> link applied to M3
C32 --> link applied to M4
D22 --> link applied to N3
E22 --> link applied to 03
F22 --> link applied to P3
G22 --> link applied to Q3
Please refer to my Excel attachment in this ticket (Book1.xls) to understand the scenario better.
