Problems when creating link in wiki markup with a trailing space

XMLWordPrintable

There's a problem with creating a link in wiki markup that contains a trailing space. When you create a link to a space that doesn't exist, clicking the link creates the page. When there's a trailing space, the page is created without the space. If you rename the page, the original link is not updated.

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Using the wiki markup editor, create a link to a nonexistant page, as in [Helloworld|helloworld123 ] (note the trailing space)
      2. Click the link to create a new page and save the page.
      3. Rename the child page
      4. Open the original page and note that the incoming link is not updated with the new page location (as it would be if there were no trailing space)

The problem was reported by a customer running 3.0 but can be reproduced in Confluence 3.2.1.
