Environment:Standalone. Linux. Firefox 3.0.
NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.
Some of our users prefer the old (pre-Confluence-3.0) behavior with thumbnails, where clicking on the thumbnail would display the full-size image in a separate window.
The current behavior is to zoom the image over the page. This is nice for some images, jerky and slow for other images. But most importantly, it places the image over the page, and in many cases the point is to be able to view the image (like a screenshot for instructions) side-by-side with the text describing it.
We would like to see a parameter to the image idiom that duplicates the old behavior.
Or possibly, the ability to turn this feature off on a space-by-space basis, or possibly Confluence-wide (in the same way that we can set the thumbnail size).
