Colour Picker shows all white when customising colour scheme in documentation theme

When making a custom colour scheme for the Documentation theme, the colour picker doesn't work. Instead of coming up with a colour palette like in the other themes, it shows a grid of white squares. Hovering over and clicking on the squares acts as expected, but the colour you're choosing isn't visible. (Screenshots attached)
