JIRA Issues Macro seems to ignore column:width paramenters

I have this on my confluence page:

{section} {column:width=50%} {jiraissues:url=....}{column} {column:width=50%}
Content{column}{section}

When I save the page the and view it the width parameters seem to be ignored.

Even when I add a width parameter to the jira issues it shrinks the table but leaves white area and the width parameters are still ignored
