Mixed lists (nesting numbered list inside bullet list) does not work as described in Notation Guide

      The following, copied right from the Notation Guide, does not work:

      * a
* bulletted
*# with
*# nested
*# numbered
* list

      It produces a bullet list.
      Note: This does work in Preview mode, but not when you Save.

      I have verified this problem both in Conf. 3.1.1 and 2.10.1.
