    Description

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

We are using the Comalatech Workflow plugin. When a page contains a link to a page that gets its title changed, (meaning the linked page's title is changed and the source page updates the link name automatically), the page throws itself into the Content Developer state. This causes the content developers to have to go into the page and push it through the workflow again. More importantly, when this link is updated automatically in the page, the system records the last action taken on the page. For example, if I changed the page title, when the page updates its own link, the system records that a user updated the page title again, even though they did not touch the page. So incorrect revision history is being recorded.

So what I am seeing is that the actions taken by the Confluence application are causing the issues not the workflow plugin itself.
