When Office documents are edited through Office the notification mail will show the file name of the attachment only. It would be great to have more detailed information like what is sent when the page is edited directly (ie. changes, quick view of content).

CONFCLOUD-18711 Send detailed notifications when Office documents are edited through Office
- Closed
Allow me to clarify my request, Michael. While the detailed information stated in the description are awesome nice-to-haves (as we have many users utilizing the O.C. and standard attachments), my need-to-have is a core issue around the fundamental issue of knowing if the attachment notification is regarding a new or an updated attachment.
Attachment updates do generate a notification, but it is the same message as a new attachment, stating: "File uploaded by ..." It would be preferable for those attachments that are not new, but edited versions of the original, to have the notification recognize that and state, "File updated by ...".
I think many Confluence users would appreciate this feature.
Thank you!
Tom
