RHEL, EAR/WAR Edition
MySQL & Oracle
If a user creates content enclosed in square brackets, even if they are escaped, Confluence creates an entry in the LINKS table of the database for that content. Under normal circumstances, this probably wouldn't be a problem, but when you try to export the site from MySQL database to Oracle (using Confluence's built-in backup/restore), the DESTPAGETITLE field exceeds the constrained size of 255.
Steps to reproduce:
- Enclose a block of text larger than 255 characters (the DESTPAGETITLE will be truncated to 255) in escaped [].
- Export the site from MySQL Confluence site
- Import the site into an Oracle Confluence site
