deleted page is still accessible in Confluence when accessing via viewpage.action?pageId in the url

Deleted pages can still be accessed in Confluence when one enters their pageId in the url.

      For example:

      http://confluence.atlassian.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=196837485
      http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONFKB/Office+Connector

The links above are referring to the same page that has been deleted. Accessing the page using the first url still returns the page despite that it has been deleted.

[CONFSERVER-17425] deleted page is still accessible in Confluence when accessing via viewpage.action?pageId in the url

            in 5.8.6 it works fine.
(shows "... has been deleted ask you admininistrator ...")

This bug is pretty annoying in scandinavian environment thus we are having lots of pages that are visible only via urls in form of viewpage.action?pageid (because of the issue https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-10705). People have also used those urls lots in external links. We'd really appreciate if Atlassian could fix these someday.

As a workaround, please purge the deleted pages.

Hello I see the same problem. Links to a removed pages will still open the page if it is a link with ...editpage... or ...viewpage.action... and "pageId...".
The tiny-link opens the page, too.

            I'm using Confluence 3.0.0_01.
I have rebuild the search-index already, without any change.

Is there a solution to make the "deleted" status more save?
