    • Open Office 2.4
      Office Connector 1.5, 1.4.3

      Steps to reproduce
      1. This bug is pretty tricky to be reproduced, therefore I have attached the problematic file
      2. Use Open Office Writer to create a file
      3. Create a list of items using Open Office Writer auto-numbered feature as the contents
      4. Create a table with some empty cell(s) as the contents
      5. Import this file to Confluence using the Doc Import feature
      6. The following error message will be thrown:
The selected file is not a valid binary Word 97-2003 document

      Findings
      1. The file can be imported successfully if:
        • There are no empty cells in the table
        • Auto-numbered feature is not used
        • There are some contents in between the list and table
      2. Using the viewfile macro, the page is displayed fine
      3. Using Microsoft Word to reproduce the problem failed, therefore the issue is specific to Open Office.
      Workaround
      1. Use Microsoft Word or {viewfile} macro
