how i reproduced:
- visited my follow page, https://extranet.atlassian.com/users/viewfollow.action?username=cjerozal
- typed in the username of the person i wanted to start following in the text field
- pushed enter, or pushed "follow" without taking any suggestions
then, the user was not added and i saw a message which read "Now following Anonymous" (see screenshot)
