When editing a page, embeded images do not display according to the align parameter

When you go in to edit a page that contains the following markup,

!myimage2.png|align=right!

in the Rich Text editor tab, all of the images show up as if they have align=left. If you preview the page, the images align properly and also when you save the page, the images go back to their proper location. This was not an issue in Confluence 2.5.4.
