As per CONF-1711 I'm opening a request to be able to future-date blog posts.
There are some spaces where blogs aren't used as a blog - they are used for meetings, call schedules, etc.
Use case:
We have a meetings space on our wiki where currently each meeting gets a plain old wiki page. We do this purely because we can't future date blog posts which prevents us from scheduling a meeting in the future.
If we could future date blog posts it would be much better because then we'd have the blog calendar showing when meetings are happening - past, present and future.
We don't want future-dated blog posts to be hidden or anything like that - we want them to be visible. We can then scroll in to the future to see what meetings are upcoming.
This would be extremely useful for dealing with any kind of scheduled event.
