Can't attach file while editing page

When creating a page with an embedded image, it is somewhat annoying to have to first create the page, then attach the image. What I usually do is include the image in the page (which results in an error on the page), then attach the file after I've created the page. While this works, I'm not able to see the page and how it will look before I actually commit the change. One possible solution is to allow for attaching a file during editing. If the page is eventually created, the file is committed. If the page is not created, the file is deleted from the server.
