Steps to reproduce:

1. Add a word document (attached is a sample) to a page with special character as the title. Example of title: réel
2. Use viewdoc macro:

   {viewdoc:test.doc}
   

3. Edit the word document by clicking the gray bar

Behaviour

1. The warning and password prompt up box comes up, but when you enter the username and password, nothing happens (dies silently). No errors are shown in logs.
2. This does not happen in Windows environment

Findings:

1. The warning box that pops up after you click the gray bar, has the full path as indicated in this screenshot
2. In Windows however, the special character is replaced by other characters. View the screenshot
