A weblink in the body of a News item which renders correctly when the news item is viewed directly, is not rendered when the news item is shown in a panel macro using this markup:

I've attached two screenshots to illustrate the correct and false rendering. I'm pretty sure this affected at least some versions prior to 3.0 as well.
