The Global "Attach Files to User Profile" permission is no longer relevant - please remove it from the UI.

    Description

      Since the introduction of personal spaces in Confluence 2.2 and the fact that users can attach files to pages in their personal space (and reference these attached files from their profile area - for example, the 'About Me' field), then this permission appears to do nothing and serve no purpose. My own testing backs up this claim.

      Hence, could it please be removed?
