View a Page 'info' screen in confluence displays who has permissions to view the page.

Currently viewers of the page can remove permissions (including their own!) + if I attempt to remove another users permissions to view the page I get an error screen that displays:

"You are not permitted to perform this operation."

But when I go back to the page, it appears that I have been successful in performing the operation
