Boy, not including images in confluence notification emails rough.
We'd really like to see this fixed asap.

Especially for the cloud version of confluence.

Hi Giovanni

Thanks for taking the time to raise this. This issue has been on our backlog now for 5 years with very little movement in that time. Rather than leave this here I'm going to close this issue as won't fix, I believe that this better reflects its status.

If the problem is raised again in the future we will re-address it.

I find this too. It's not just about server access or anything. The source of the email contains <span class="error">Unable to render embedded object: File (Screen shot 2011-02-11 at 6.48.57 PM.png) not found.</span>

I definitely get this in notifications for new blogs.

Does the page that you are notified about require you to log in to view it. If yes you might have the same problem as discribed here: CONF-9443
