This problem might not be specific to 3.0 but I've not had a chance to test on 2.10 yet.
If a page on Confluence has the unicode 0x14 character then any feed that tried to use the content of this page will cause the following to be logged:
<HTML page content snipped> is not legal for a JDOM character content: 0x14 is not a legal XML character. javax.servlet.error.request_uri: /createrssfeed.action os_authstatus: success Parameters: spaces : conf_all publicFeed : false title : Internal Blog RSS Feed timeSpan : 5 rssType : atom
The page that did have the bad characters was -
https://extranet.atlassian.com/display/RS/Lost+Opportunities+Detailed+Report
- although I've since removed the 0x14 character from that page.
