On Confluence pages it is possible to choose the limitation regarding view and edit rights. This feature is not availble for news items, although there are scenario's where this is useful 'cause you want only specific streams of news to specific groups. Currently I can address this partly with the

macro, however this does not help if one is looking in the News overview in the space admin scree.

Can limit view/edit rights also be added to news items, something like
