Currently if a comment for an image exists it is displayed under the image. Would like to have a parameter for displaying the file name and/or the comment under the image.
(ie. caption=comment, filename, both / default comment)
Also add another parameter to display file size (ie. size=true,false / default=false

I know our team would love to have this option as well so we can identify images more easily in a large gallery.
Maybe a new comment after over 1 year will help push this one along. Ridiculous that the feature is not there to display a filename.

added a comment - Just want to throw in my vote. I agree with Johan's statement. I think some people just fly over a request like this because in some ways it seems like such an obvious feature to include. Surely this is a super quick task that could be implemented and bring in a lot of love and more importantly remove any feelings of dissatisfaction at such a simple and useful function not being implemented.

These types of features don't always gets the most votes or the most attention but they bring a lot of love for the platform and a lot of people would be able to make good use of it. Please tend to this as soon as possible.

added a comment - I would certainly like to see the "caption" parameter. I frequently have to update a number of images attached to the page, and it is tedious to update the comment on each image every time when the image name has a perfectly good description. It would turn a 15-minute task into a 3-second task, and my users would get updates far more frequently.

added a comment - Would also like to see this functionality. I would like to see if we can use the thumbnail/attachment format for design mocks, and versioning for design mocks on confluence pages. Being able to include the filename would be helpful for that.
