Changing LOG4J settings does not change logging levels

    • Environment:

      Occurs on Weblogic 9.2 and 10.3 on Windows XP and SunOS 5.9

      On the administrative page Logging and profiling /admin/viewlog4j.action , when I try to switch from Production level to Diagnostic, it works pretty well. But trying to revert back to Production level does not seem to work.

      I have also tried to add DEBUG logging on a specific class, it did not work. While editing the log4j.properties file and redeploying the application did the trick.

      Could you check into this piece of code and fix any issue there is ?
