Confluence should support partial word matching.
If a wiki page has the word adrecordset, a search on recordset should include the page. Currently only a search on adrecordset or a search with wildcards returns the page.
Note that this is different than CONF-7026 in light of how it was resolved. CONF-7026 was about matching page titles. This is about matching content in the body of a page.
This was intentionally filed as a bug; few products use an entire word as the default search granularity.
