Remove Classic Theme

    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

      We deprecated the classic theme in the 2.9 docs. We can now remove it in 2.10.

      It would involve writing an upgrade task to migrate existing spaces with classic theme to the default theme. And maybe disable/uninstall the classic theme?

            The Classic Theme has been removed from the bundled plugins list for 2.10.

            2.10 also has an upgrade task to:

            • migrate any space with the classic theme configured to use the default theme
            • if the global theme is configured to classic, it is also migrated to the default theme
            • the plugin is uninstalled (classic theme entry in db is removed)

            We may need to document this?
