Description
Some users need the ability to start off using the wiki by creating a personal space and then be able to promote that space to a global space for more users to use once the content in the space has matured and the user is also more comfortable to let other users begin using the space.
Please provide a strategy/solution to accomplish this. I was able to find out documentation to convert a Global space to a personal space but did not find anything to convert a personal space to a global space.
Hi All,
After some discussion we have come to the conclusion that we will not be implementing this feature. Although this isn't a complete workaround, users can move parent (and child pages) from one space to another. We can't see ourselves completing this feature in the foreseeable future and don't have plans to in our backlog. I'll be marking this issue as "Won't Fix".
We also have partners that can help you customise Confluence that could help you with a one-off migration if needed.
