Issue Summary
After renaming a page in a certain way and going to the link of the old page, Page Not Found will suggests the same page twice
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a page in Confluence. Name it "CONFSERVER"
- Save the link of the page. It should be something like http://localhost:26157/c6157/display/6157/CONFSERVER
- Rename the page by adding more characters to the title. For example "CONFSERVER 13010 in Jira.atlassian.com"
- Go to the old link saved in step 1 http://localhost:26157/c6157/display/6157/CONFSERVER
Expected Results
Page Not Found appears and it will suggest one link
Actual Results
Page Not Found appears and it suggests two links.
Both of them links to the correct page.
Notes
There are multiple criteria which determine when a page is displayed as an alternative page in the PageNotFound page. Two of which are:
- The title under search is a historical title of the page
- The title under search is a prefix of new page title
The two results returned since it satisfies the criteria of two different sections
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
