Would it be possible to change the HTML layout so that if the content area of the page is wider than the currently expected width, the page tools on the right side of the page wouldn't be scaled? Right now the page scales quite well but when wide images are put to a page, the page toolbox shrinks so that it's hard to use. I guess it might be fixed by simply stating a minimum width to the box?

Current behavior is consistent at least when using Safari and Camino (Mozilla 1.7 rendering engine).
