It would be nice to be able to edit a blogpost without changing the modification date. If we edit a blog post just to fix a mere typo, and the blog post is a week old, we don't want it to jump to the top of the list and we don't want the modification date to change.

At the moment, checking the "minor edit" checkbox before saving an edit to a page doesn't prevent the modification date from being changed. The blogpost still moves to the top of a list on our wiki that is sorted by modification date.
