Unexpected Rollback exception encountered when submitting changes to page; page is no longer accessable

    • Production environment (non-test or dev); stand-alone; JDK 1.5.0_09; Sql Server 2005 on Windows Server 2003 SP2

      When submitting changes to a page an "org.springframework.transaction.UnexpectedRollbackException" (see attached error page). Now the page is no longer viewable, and yields the same exception regardless of who accesses it.

      Included in the attachment are also system information as well as plugings used.

            Hi Corey,

            The UnexpectedRollbackException was shadowing the real problem. We have actually fixed the code that was responsible for this exception: CONF-10087.

            we traced the issue down to a bad macro. Our user was using (for the first time even on our install) the calendar-events macro. This is part of the Calendar Plugin version 2.3
