[CONFSERVER-12542] Links containing macros with empty body are broken when edited in Rich Text Editor (RTE) - Create and track feature requests for Atlassian products.

To reproduce, try entering:

[{cheese}]

in WikiMarkup and then switching to RTE will produce the following output

{cheese}

 
&linkCreation=true&fromPageId=1278743" class="createlink"linktype="raw" linktext="
{cheese}

{cheese}

. This also breaks the Metadata Macro.
