Confluence cluster running behind a virtual IP (VIP) integrating with a 3rd party single sign-on server
Description
A long time ago when I wrote our authenticator for wikis.sun.com, I noticed that under some circumstances our SSO server didn't redirect back to wikis.sun.com correctly. It redirected to a confluence URI without specifying the host and the domain, which resulted in the browser ending up on our SSO server instead of wikis.sun.com server.
I wrote a patch for this issue, which we have been using in production for over a year now. Since the patch fixes an issue in Confluence that affects others, I'd like it to be absorbed into the main source base, instead of me maintaining it.
There are actually two patches:
- seraph--original-absolute-url.patch - patches Seraph
- confluence--login-redirect-fix.patch - patches Confluence and depends on the Seraph patch
