Chinese characters garbled under Resin and Tomcat due to sitemesh bug

Creating pages with chinese characters results in a page with garbled characters if Confluence is run under Tomcat or Resin. This is not a problem under orion.

This is apparently caused by a bug in sitemesh, as the characters display correctly if the sitemesh filter is switched off.
