Due to the age of the issue and the fact that this bug seems to have been fixed in 2.10 I'm closing this issue as fixed.

            Hi,

I also got the problem on two 2.9.2 installations.

If I check into the log I got this :

To be completely accurate I inserted in the Description field a step "Give a non existing name to the page" before the step "Click the "insert image" icon"

            Hi Don,
            Thanks for answering.

I can reproduce the bug on IE 7 (7.0.5730.13 to be accurate) and Firefox 3.0 (I think I had it on Firefox 2 as well) each time I try.
When I follow the indicated steps, the Wiki markup editor is open by default but I do not enter any information in the editor. I just click the "Insert image" icon, attach an image, and when I am back to the creation page the editor pane contains the link to the attached image, I do not change a think before saving

            Hi Valérie,

Thanks for reporting this bug. Would you mind telling me what browser you're using and whether you're using the Rich Text editor or the Wiki Markup Editor? Does this happen every time or just sometimes?

            Cheers,
            Don
