Plugin upload fails silently if an older version is already installed

      The plugin upload/installation fails silently every time I try to upload our custom theme plugin and forget to uninstall the old version.

      This is super annoying. Can't you fix this so that when an upload happens and an older version of the uploaded plugin exists, this older version is automatically uninstalled and the new version is installed?
