      NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      The following SMTP configuration doc should be improved:

      From Confluence 2.6.1 and later versions, the javamail-x.x.x.jar is omitted. That means you are only required to move the activation-x.x.x.jar and mail-x.x.x.jar files from the confluence/WEB-INF/lib directory to the common/lib directory and restart Confluence.
