Extra <html> in Custom HTML field breaks Custom HTML edit page

      I accidently copied an entire HTML page into the Custom HTML field. The edit page breaks as a result and I am unable to fix through the Admin panel. Fixing though the database is problematic because I don't have access to the database - and it's not a simple edit even if I did. Have tried accessing this page by both FireFox and IE 6 with the same result. Screenshot attached.

            Hi Lisa,

            Sorry for the delay in response. In future, please send such questions to http://support.atlassian.com as they answer queries faster. This state can be worked around by sending the request to clear all the fields. The same one that would be generated if you submitted the form. You can just paste the following URL into your browser, fixing the baseurl first of course.

            Note: This will irreparably clear all the HTML fields!

            http://your.confluence.baseurl/admin/doeditcustomhtml.action?customHtmlSettings.beforeHeadEnd=&customHtmlSettings.afterBodyStart=&customHtmlSettings.beforeBodyEnd=
