Write XML with spetial symbols: &, <, >, etc

      Tomcat 4.1.30, Linux[Slackware]

      I tried to create a page using macros 

      

      

       to put java code inside.
      
The page looked ok. Then I tried to generate the pdf or xml view and got an exception.
      


      I think you tried to create a DOM using dom4j and put into DOM some of text as is without encoding the spetial (non XML) symbols like &.
