We have a problem with getting Confuence to render long urls correctly.

Users would like add a url to this page on their wiki page: http://wikis.sun.com/display/CommSuite/Communications+Suite+6+Component+Products+Release+Notes#CommunicationsSuite6ComponentProductsReleaseNotes-RequirementsforC6

      If they insert it as:

[Requirements for Communications Suite 6|Communications Suite 6 Component Products Release Notes#CommunicationsSuite6ComponentProductsReleaseNotes-RequirementsforC6]

The url that Confluence generates looks like this:
      http://wikis.sun.com/display/CommSuite/Communications+Suite+6+Component+Products+Release+Notes#CommunicationsSuite6ComponentProductsReleaseNotes-ommunicationsSuite6ComponentProductsReleaseNo...
(the three dots at the end and a missing "C" in the anchor are part of confluence output)

They also tried to use a workaround and insert an absolute link instead, but then they face intermittent problems due to http://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-9392

      [_Requirements for Communications Suite 6_ | http://wikis.sun.com/display/CommSuite/Communications+Suite+6+Component+Products+Release+Notes#CommunicationsSuite6ComponentProductsReleaseNotes-RequirementsforC6]

I was able to reproduce the problem on your wiki here: http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/TESTING/Corrupted+URL+Bug
