Disabling daily Backups on one node in a cluster does not reflect on other nodes in the cluster

    • Type: Bug
    • Resolution: Fixed
    • Priority: Medium
    • 3.0
    • Affects Version/s: 2.5.8
    • Component/s: None
    • Environment:

Confluence cluster with 2 or more nodes

      Steps to reproduce

      1) Log into node1 of a confluence cluster which has 2 or more nodes.
      2) Disable daily confluence backups
      3) Log into node2 and check their daily backup configuration.

You will notice that it is still enabled.

Confluence nodes appear to pickup this setting from the confluence.cfg.xml file in their home directory. Thus this setting is not stored in the database (like the other settings).
Changing the setting for daily backups does not propagate to other nodes, thus users that have disabled in one node mistakingly believe that .

Confluence Admin's need to disable the issue in every node in order to disable on all nodes
